Protect your account from check fraud!

Protect your account from check fraud with Positive Pay.

Fraudulent check writing costs companies billions of dollars every year. With our Positive Pay service, you can verify the check transactions before they are paid.

Benefits of Positive Pay
  • Automatically identify possible fraud before the money leaves your account.
  • Save time by reviewing only exceptions.
  • You decide whether to pay a check or not.

Three Positive Pay options to choose from:

Your company electronically submits an issued check file to us via Online Banking. We will match the account number, check number, date and dollar amount against checks presented for payment each business day.

Any checks that are presented for payment that do not match your issued check file will generate an exception in which you will decide whether to pay or return the check in Online Banking.

Payee Positive Pay is the same as Check Positive Pay, except it will also match the payee name in addition to the account number, check number, date and dollar amount against checks presented for payment.

Your company electronically submits an issued check file to us via Online Banking. We will match the account number, check number, date and dollar amount, and payee name against checks presented for payment.

Any checks that are presented for payment that do not match your issued check file will generate an exception in which you will decide whether to pay or return the check in Online Banking.

Reverse positive pay is a fraud mitigation service that helps provide for early detection of fraudulent checks by providing a list of all checks presented for payment each business day in Online Banking.

It is a great alternative for companies unable to submit an issued check file. It also allows you to review ALL checks presented for payment and you determine if the checks should be paid or returned.

In Online Banking, we will provide a list of checks that were presented for payment on the prior business day. You will be able to view the transaction information as well as an image of the checks presented.

  • You can review these items and decide which items (if any) should be returned.
  • All items not decisioned will be returned.
