Did you know? With Pay a Person from Providence Bank, you can use your smartphone, tablet or computer to send money to anyone. It’s fast, easy and secure. All you need is the person’s email address or cell phone number.
 
Pay a Person makes it easy to send money in just a few clicks directly from Online Bill Pay or our MyPB mobile app. Pay your rent, send money to your kids away at college, pay the babysitter or pay anyone…anytime…anywhere. Pay a Person…the fast & affordable way to send money!

Click Enroll and follow the prompts.
  • Log into your account with Providence Bank.
  • Select Bill Pay.
  • Select Pay a Person.
  • Select how you want to send the funds, either by email / text message, direct deposit or by check and then follow the prompts.
  • An email or text message is automatically sent to the recipient with a personal greeting from you. If you choose the electronic method, the money goes from your bank account into their bank account…usually within 1 to 2 business days, regardless of where they bank.
  • Email or text message (Electronic). The recipient provides the routing number and account number.
  • Direct deposit (Electronic). Requires the routing and account number.
  • Check. The check is mailed to the recipient.
  • Email/text message and direct deposit are paid within 1 to 2 business days.
  • Checks are paid within 5 to 7 business days.
Each transaction is only 50 cents*.
